Inspired by Melbourne’s coffee and brunch culture, founder edward Ng created The Replacement in 2015 by injecting new life into a 1940s heritage shophouse on the historic Jalan Dhoby. There’s something to be said about the unique café culture in Melbourne, and our dream was to bring this experience to our local community. Our establishment has since grown from a quirky little café to a go-to destination for dining and lodging in Johor Bahru.
